This is the first cover track including vocals I've done in around 30 years. It took me weeks of practice to get this to a standard I was satisfied with, even though I think there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Recorded and mixed in Ableton Live 11, using a Roland RD-88 stage piano, several VSTs (XLN Addictive Drums, Korg M1, Arturia Stage-73 V), a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd gen) audio interface, and an Audio-Technica AT2020 mic.

The original song is by Ned Doheny.

I checked the ASCAP website before uploading, but couldn't find anything.  However, I discovered Ned is already on SoundCloud himself, so I think it's okay to post here.  If not, I will happily take it down.

The original song is much better than this, so be sure to listen to it. Ned Doheny's beautiful, soulful vocal is something else.
