"Up and Go" wurde im Mai 2019 im "Flip Top" Studio von Uli Fiedler aufgenommen für das fünfte Album "Summer is over", das im Januar 2020 veröffentlicht wurde. Eigentlich wollten die Candies damit wieder verstärkt auf Tour gehen, aber dann kam die Corona-Pandemie.

Well how about that? I was going through my files a few days ago and came across this song that had been recorded a few years back but never edited.  It's a bouncy R & B number that breezes along on a cool melody.  I'm not altogether sure if it's an angry song or a happy one.  You can decide. Nothing But the Wind was written within the last 2-3 months for a friend who was about to run a marathon.  It's a smooth ballad that floats like clouds in the sky on a sunny day. irgendwo zwischen Blues, Post Punk, 60ties Garage und windschiefem Country

1985 wurden The Creeping Candies gegründet und ihr Start war wahrhaft furios. Bereits 1986 erschien ihr Debut-Album „Flesh“ auf dem renommierten Hamburger Indie-Label "What ́s So Funny About" von Alfred Hilsberg, dass sie zu einer der namhaftesten Gitarrenbands des deutschen Undergrounds machte.

Der britische Rock ́n Roll-Held Nikki Sudden erklärte sie zu seiner deutschen Lieblingsband und produzierte bis zu seinem Tod ihre ersten drei Platten und nahm sie mit auf Tour.

Die Wege der Candies Gang führten quer durch Deutschland an Orte wie die Hamburger „Markthalle“, die Frankfurter „Batschkapp“ und auch in das angrenzende europäische Ausland.

Seit 2006 ist ihr ehemaliger Mentor tot, The Creeping
Candies aber weiterhin quicklebendig, wenn sie es
inzwischen auch etwas entspannter angehen. Das Feuer in ihrer Musik ist nicht erloschen.

The Busketeers are a band like no other, known for their raw energy and diverse shows. Comprised of four talented musicians who are all singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, they captivate audiences with their ability to harmonise and seamlessly swap instruments while delivering a unique sound that blends genres from all over the musical spectrum. Their passion for music is evident in every note they play.

The Busketeers originally formed on the streets of Plymouth, Devon, UK, where they quickly gained a reputation for their diverse performances and impressive musical skills. The band consists of Kendall Williams, Luke Engel (part of the band Wild Fenn), Matthew Gordon Price, and Olly Parker. Each member brings their own unique style and influences to the group, resulting in a sound that is both eclectic and cohesive.

Despite their success as a street band, The Busketeers quickly gained a following and began playing at local venues, eventually building a fan base that extended beyond their hometown. Their reputation as a must-see live act grew, and they were soon playing at festivals and venues across the country.

The Busketeers are set to release their album, "The Busketeers," in 2023. The album will showcase the band's impressive range of musical styles and their ability to seamlessly blend them together. From folk to rock to pop, "The Busketeers" is a testament to the bands musical prowess and dedication to their craft.

Since then, The Busketeers have continued to tour and release new music, building a loyal fan base along the way. They have played at some of the UK's biggest music festivals and stages, including Boardmasters, Plymouth Pavilions, Tunes In The Dunes, Leopallooza, Rock Oyster, Tunes In The Park, Rattler Fest, Little Orchard Festival and many more.

As The Busketeers continue to evolve and grow as musicians, one thing remains constant: their commitment to providing audiences with an unforgettable live experience.

Born in Leesburg, Virginia, and raised in Meyriez, Switzerland, Niceyboy is a self-taught filmmaker blending music, fashion, photography, and film into a unified creative vision. Since 2022, he's been pursuing a Bachelor in International Hospitality Management, exploring the synergy between art and hospitality.

Over a 40 year span, I have written a countless number of songs, alone or in collaboration with others.  Here, you will find the product of those efforts with many songs recently re-recorded.  Frequently, earlier versions live here as well. All songs were written by me (RC Sterling) unless otherwise noted.  While several singers contribute to what you hear, the most common element across the material is a commitment to crafting catchy pop/rock/alternative tunes. In some instances AI programs have been used to isolate older vocal tracks when the original audio files could not be found.  All tracks have been auto tuned and pitch corrected as needed. Unfortunately, nothing could help those demos that featured my lead vocals. 😁
