Losing Danielle Moore of Crazy P earlier this month has hurt more than most for me as their music has been part of my DNA for as long as I’ve been DJing…and if you’ve seen them live then you know how special it was to see her dance and sing all over whatever venue they’d be performing in 💃🏻 she was a disco force to be reckoned with and their recognition can know no bounds, so I also felt inspired to record a tribute mix to Danielle, Hot Toddy, Ron Basejam, and Crazy P! I hope you enjoy!

Consider this mix as a taste because I’m also excited to announce that I’ll be playing their music and the sounds that inspired them/they’ve inspired all night long at one of my favorite bars in Brooklyn, Mad Tropical, next Saturday June, 21st it’s free and will be all about the groove 🪩 RIP Danielle!

Southern California native, current digital nomad, Maikol keeps the feel good soulful vibes coming year round, regardless of where he is in the world. A true purveyor of vibe and lover of a wide variety of music.

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.

DJ varois, TANOUKY fait ses preuves dans des clubs et bars mythiques de la côte d’Azur " MAÏ TAÏ (bandol) la LAMPA (toulon) mais également sur de grands festivals tel que l’AQUA PLANING.
En 2005, il exporte ses mixs originaux durant un an sur les dancefloor italiens.
En 2006, il insuffle un vent de fraîcheur musicale sur la région messine en devenant le premier dj résident du club “LES LOGES” durant 5 ans. 
Grâce à cette expérience il se fait un nom et son style unique ne passe pas inaperçu.
En 2011, il co-organise avec M.LAUBACHER l’événement “LA LEGEND” au
Pop White puis part mixer dans les clubs au LUXEMBOURG ( WHITE HOUSE, IKKI, BOOS K FE, KLUBB, WALDHAFF, TENDER...)

Actuellement il mix au GO TEN  (lux) et au POP WHITE (metz)

A l’écoute de ses sets on passe tantôt d’un univers deep house/ nu disco et à des vestiges dance subtilement embellis. On sent en tout cas que l’on a à faire à un DJ libre et inspiré
