in love with electronic music since the late 90s
used to be a passionate consumer, never missed a party at Monza in Frankfurt
played all my favorite tracks until my friends forced me to do the same thing in front of a bigger crowd ;-)

Born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay, Alex Benitez has spent the last decade in between his home country, Boston and New York City developing a life in the arts. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Film & Television, he moved back to Asuncion for a year to expand his work with sound. He is inspired by the art world and the eclectic variety of sounds that exists in the NYC underground music scene.
Alex is an award-winning cinematographer that has worked developing the photography and sound design for many short films, documentaries and music videos. He DJs under the alias "sorry i'm late" and has shared his music at various clubs, festivals, rooftops, art galleries, and private events across North, Central & South America. 
He is currently based in New York City.
