Rolling Stones on Tour

    Hello friends, I hope everyone is doing okay. I wrote this song in 2017 and it's one of my psychedelic songs! I played harpsichord on it and a Bach trumpet on my keyboard. I was trying to write a song like "Penny Lane" by The Beatles or "Ruby Tuesday" by The Rolling Stones. It has a  "Summer Of Love" feel and look to it and It's about no one in particular but I read somewhere about all these young girls that go to Hollywood and try to break into films or TV and wind up spending their whole lives struggling and never make it and then wind up becoming a server or something and end up destitute and homeless and who knows what else! It's really kind of sad! I've been to Hollywood several times and I've seen the streets lined with homeless people. The movie "La La Land" touches on this issue a very tiny bit but of course it makes it look so glamourous and beautiful that it becomes unbelievable. It's a very hard and unkind business, this show business,  and only a handfull of people actually make it! So my song is about a young girl named Lady Green that goes to Hollywood but never makes it and just gets old and passes away unknown. "What Became Of Lady Green"?
    Charlie sang it very well and I joined in with several tracks of "Ooh's" and "Ah's". It's a very trippy sounding song and I worked very hard on it. There's a ton of weird sounds on it, I think I even played a backards piano and sitar towards the end.

     I put the video together earlier this year and threw in as much eye-candy as I could. I storyboarded this video and it took me over a week to finish it. I tried to use as many colors as I could in the lyrics and the video. I loved the fashion and the sound of the mid 1960's and I tried to capture that look. Everything is just so bland and gray today compared to the that swinging groovy time! This song will begin my most experimental and weird spooky songs that I always save for October and Halloween. I hope everyone enjoys it and please don't do what Lady Green did, it seldom ends well. Peace & Love!✌🏼😎✌🏼
