I have been involved in music from birth. I was born to drum but soon learned to play guitar, bass, piano and pretty much anything I could make a beat or music with. I love making people happy through music, art and food. I retired from live performances when Covid came into play. I still do cameo appearances but have found great pleasure in writing lyrics and producing music. I love all music as I do food and cultures. There is so much to learn about the people and places in this wonderful world and I will share my experiences and emotions until my fingers no longer work. Ropatt (aka Ron Patton) is a dynamic pop, jazz, and hip-hop artist who first made waves with his 2003 album Biggie Was Here. Hailing from Michigan, Ron dove into songwriting during college and became a staff writer for the legendary Holland-Dozier-Holland team.
