Fun Facts:
This song was performed live by Rough Terrain on many occasions.
It was composed on the teacher's balcony that overlooks the main school hall at King's School, Ottery St Mary during Project Week, 1982.
It started with the blues riff in G and Naomi kicked things off with "Woke up this morning..."
The rest of the lyrics were a collaborative effort between Jon, Dave, Simon and George.
The guitar plays a blues riff in G, and the phrase ends with a turnaround of F and Dm7.

Noah, 23, brings versatility to the crew. His laid-back confidence and creative instincts round out the group's dynamic.

Bella, 23, adds a smooth and expressive vocal tone shaped by her Hispanic heritage and her upbringing in California. She brings warmth, bilingual flavor, and a bright emotional sensibility that blends seamlessly with the group’s harmonies. Bella’s style bridges pop-R&B with soft, romantic tones that broaden the group's sonic palette.

Together, Filthy Habits wasn’t formed for clout — it was built on friendship, shared passion, and the desire to create music that actually means something. Whether they’re vibing in a dorm room, experimenting with modern R&B production, or paying homage to old-school classics, the group stays true to its mission: making music that feels good, hits deep, and keeps positive energy alive.

* What do we stand for as a label?

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

We are against corporate brainwash muzak, their puppet friends in the mass media, and many other corporate activities. We will fight their desecration of music until either it stops or we die. 

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.
