In der zweiten Hälfte unseres Jackie Chan Drittschlags holen wir uns mit dem Martial Artist, Action-Choreograph und Top-Stuntman Andy Long Nguyen (ACCIDENT MAN – HITMAN´S HOLIDY, 2022) fachkundige und höchst sympathische Verstärkung ins Team. Gemeinsam mit Florian, Tom und Tobi plaudern die vier Lucky Stars über Jackie´s endgültigen Durchbruch in Hollywood. Dabei bekommen es die Jungs mit echten Krachern wie DRUNKEN MASTER II (1994), RUMBLE IN THE BRONX (1995), NOBODY – WHO AM I (1998) und RUSH HOUR (1998) zu tun. Zudem werden auch wieder etwas weniger bekannte Produktionen wie THUNDERBOLT (1995) oder UNDER CONTROL (1999) unter die Lupe genommen. Somit ist wieder für mächtig Action gesorgt, also schnallt euch an und reist mit uns in die glanzvollen 90er Jahre, wo Jackie vom Meister aller Klassen zum Hollywood-Star wurde.

The Phonica series drifts Amsterdam way for the next addition in its series with not one but two of the cities most prominent artists. Kamma & Masalo supply separately in their sets nothing but magical moments so when you have the chance to see them play together it is that times two and some. Never knowing what the direction and vibe their set will go - having roots in eclectic and disco vibes as well clubbier house, techno and acid sounds (a vibe they cement firmly at their Brighter Days party in Amsterdam) - they have firmly placed themselves on top shelf list of some of Europes finest selectors.  Appearing regularly at festivals like Dekmantel and Japan's Rainbow Disco Club to name a few, the duo have played some of the best clubs around the world. For Phonica 131 Kamma and Masalo have the dancefloor in mind with a mix focused on their beginnings in the underground club scene of their upbringing. We had a quick chat with them about the mix and what they have coming up!

Mike Scantlebury is a part of the band, radio show and song writing team known as 'The Jam'. No, Paul Weller he ain't. JAM stands for 'Jane and Mike' and you'll not just find them on Mixcloud but also Youtube and various websites and Blogs. It's modern songs, (in a folk idiom), radio shows in a 'Richard and Judy' idiot, and songs like 'Dit Dit Dit', (which, as we all know, stands for S.O.S. - good enough for The Titanic. Passar da pista de dança para a cabine do DJ foi um caminho natural para Fiervo (AKA Fernando Iervolino). Sua paixão por música e pela noite o fez trocar as pistas paulistanas pelos clubs Europeus. Estudou na Academy Of Contemporary Music, em Londres, e trouxe na bagagem – além de muitos discos – sets que investem nas variações da house, nos novos caminhos da disco, em música eletrônica com gostinho underground. Seu som moderno e sofisticado o levou a se apresentar na versão brasileira do Creamfields Festival, após ficar em primeiro lugar no concurso de novos talentos da revista Mixmag. A mesma publicação o incluiu em sua seção “DJs para se ficar de olho”, em uma de suas edições. Outros festivais no currículo de Fiervo são o Popload Gig, onde fez a abertura para o show da banda inglesa Metronomy e a versão brasileira do The Creators Project. Também passou por clubs como D-Edge, Vegas e Bar Secreto, onde atualmente organiza a festa Mezcla, projeto mensal que toca junto do DJ Fabio Spavieri. No final de 2011, Fiervo foi eleito como uma das revelações musicais do ano pela revista eletrônica Burn. Além das discotecagens, Fiervo mantém seu blog (www.fiervo.com), espaço onde fala sobre as músicas que ama e entrevista gente de quem é fã: Kim Ann Foxman (Hercules & Love Affair), Midnight Magic (NY), Julian Sanza (2020 Soundsystem)… Atualmente, Fiervo também tem se dedicado a produção musical e trabalha em faixas próprias.
