A journey through the heart of Rwanda. 'Love In Kigali' blends soulful melodies with infectious Afrobeat rhythms, celebrating the vibrant energy of the city and the magic of finding connection in the land of a thousand hills.

The air in Kigali was painted in the scent of blooming jacarandas and the warmth of a day that refused to end. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the city’s hills began to twinkle like a fallen constellation.

​Elara stood on a balcony overlooking the winding streets of Kiyovu, the distant rhythm of a drum circle echoing through the valley. She hadn’t come to Rwanda looking for anything more than a change of pace, but the city had a pulse she couldn't ignore.

​Then she saw him—or rather, she heard him first. A melody drifted up from the courtyard below, a blend of traditional strings and a modern, driving beat that made the very air feel electric. When their eyes met through the golden twilight, the noise of the bustling city seemed to fade into a soft hum.

​They spent the night wandering through the night markets, where the neon lights reflected in the rain-slicked pavement. They shared stories under the shadow of the Convention Centre’s glowing dome, laughing as the music from nearby clubs spilled out into the open air. In a city of a thousand hills, they had found the one spot where time stood perfectly still.

​As the first light of dawn began to touch the peaks of Mt. Kigali, the melody remained—a song of a night where two strangers became a part of the city’s heartbeat, a story of love found in the golden glow of Kigali.

Women's financial inclusion is advancing, but gaps remain. The World Bank's Global Findex 2025 reveals that 77% of women globally now hold a financial account, yet in some low- and middle-income countries, women are still up to 30 percentage points less likely to own one than men. So, what's driving this persistent divide, and how do we close it?  

In our last episode, we looked at some of the barriers nano women entrepreneurs face and potential solutions. Thie time, we turn to the power of data. Gender-disaggregated data gives regulators and financial service providers the insight needed to design products and policies that truly serve women. In this episode, we explore how Rwanda is leading the way using smarter data collection to build a more inclusive and equitable financial system for women.

How Can Data Help Close Gaps in Women’s Financial Inclusion? Lessons from Rwanda

Electronic EDM Techno Trance Musician from way back in the 1990's I spent much of 2023 - 2025 creating Techno, Afro, EDM and Drum n Bass tracks to release this year.

Bio:- My first track called "Lift Off!" was uploaded onto the first ever music website MP3.com in 1996. Along with "Deep" and may others they became big hits. In 1999 One of my tracks was Licensed to Warner Bros and used in "The Matrix Revisited". 

In 2007 I opened an account on Myspace. Hi Tom!
My Track "My Final Fantasy" became an International phenomenon and I gained hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. 

I left the music scene in 2010 but have now returned.

My very latest tracks that I have created in 2025 are very Commercial, span various Genres and thanks to some fantastic software are full of fantastic and lush vocals.

In my Underground tracks that I created in 2023/2024 I use certain sounds more than once across the songs which is deliberate because when I perform and mix them in it makes it more trippy and hypnotic - I am a trained and Certified Hypnotherapist so add this edge to my tunes!

It would be amazing to re-connect with my now "mature" fans from the past as well as new fans and fellow musicians so do feel free to message I will always do my best to reply.
