BROR  (NO) - Afro Rythms For Mom

The book and the sound piece are two parts of the same work. Although they exist independently, they explore the pictorial dimension and the repetitive aspects of images and sounds, like rhythms that complement each other. Be it visual or auditory, the emphasis is on the almost sensual contemplation of a landscape, on a journey between nature and humanity.

Everything is tinted by a feverish melancholy and a disturbing peacefulness. Followed by the images of an armchair where a "Doina" is sung, and a skull with its teeth pulled out, the two pieces have a personal story threaded throughout, a lingering presence of a sweet heaviness.

The reasoning behind it is to understand the grooviness we are looking for the concept that In The Groove Series represents.

En esta pequeña pieza musical de más o menos 75 minutos, busco plasmar el sentimiento que me genera este sonido que tanto me representa y que he venido puliendo.
Producciones llenas de hardgroove y sonidos tribales con algo de trance sin dejar atrás el ritmo constante, muy emocionado por compartirles este set grabado en mi habitación después de días complicados para mí, espero los disfruten tanto como yo.

I would like introduce "Natural Dance"
In this short piece of music, lasting around 75 minutes, I seek to capture the feeling that this sound evokes in me, a sound that represents me so well and that I have been refining.
Productions full of hardgroove and tribal sounds with a touch of trance, without losing the constant rhythm. I am very excited to share this set with you, recorded in my room after a difficult few days for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Between Rio de Janeiro's humid nights and the Bay Area's electric fog emerges a sonic territory that refuses naming. Psychotic Surge inhabits the threshold where structured rhythm dissolves into controlled chaos, where the predictable becomes uncanny. Here, experimental improvisations capture fleeting auras—each recording a unique fingerprint of temporal collapse, where early acid techno memories bleed into orchestral synthetic dreams, noise becomes prayer, and minimal compass constraints birth maximal expression.|

This is not music seeking approval but sound demanding participation. Like thought before language, these compositions exist in the space between intention and accident, where repetition becomes difference and structure emerges from its own undoing. The project traces a geography of becoming—each track a deterritorialized moment where voices merge with synthesizers not to communicate but to invoke presence itself. Concrete-musique fragments scatter across avant-garde landscapes, creating soundscapes that remember futures and anticipate pasts.

Enter these sound-worlds as you would enter memory—sideways, vulnerable, ready to be transformed. The psychotic surge event is not performance but ritual participation in the moment's aura, an invitation to dissolve the boundary between listener and listened. Here, in the grey area where music questions its own existence, you're called to witness sound's capacity to reveal what language conceals—the raw pulse of existence before it learns to speak. Engage these recordings as maps to territories that exist only in their crossing, where each listen births a new geography of sensation.

Movement Collective thrives on walking paths that haven’t been beaten yet. A crew with an international scope and an attitude towards music that says “fresh only”.
