This is a story about Gigi Riva, the legendary Italian soccer player who "led the modest team of Cagliari to win the Serie A championship in the 1969-70 season." While it portrays Riva as more than a player—a demigod whose name is whispered with reverence and his deeds immortalised—it’s ultimately a tale of childhood, wonder, memories, and a touch of mischievous revenge. Without giving too much away (there is a twist!), this 12-minute story will surprise and enchant, offering an unexpected journey through hero worship, nostalgia, and the magic of storytelling.

1) Our MASL correspondent, Greg Suttie, talked about the latest news and results from the league, the playoff picture and the key matchups coming this week.

2) Rochester Lancers Wall of Famer and Roc City Boom defender Jake Schindler, who talked about how this season is different from his previous years in the MASL1 and coaching the MASL2 Lancers while playing last season, the team's 15-4 road win over Sahara Gunners and what the team will be doing to prepare for the final 2 games at Cleveland later in March.

Front Row Soccer.com's Michael Lewis talked about the USWNT losing to Japan in the She Believes Cup, the award winners named by US Soccer this past weekend and the latest results from MLS.  

Andrew and Joe revealed the 2025 schedule for Flower City Union and previewed the 1st leg of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League taking place this week.

Our special guest was the coach of the MASL3 regular season champion Roc City Boom, Jim Hesch, who spoke about the undefeated regular season and the MASL3 playoffs this weekend where the Boom will play in the semi-finals on Saturday.  

Our US Soccer correspondent, Front Row Soccer's Michael Lewis, talked about the passing of Hank Steinbrecher, the former secretary general for U.S. Soccer throughout the 1990’s, the US Women facing Brazil in a friendly on Saturday and taking on Canada July 2, the latest news results in MLS and the 1st leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Andrew and Joe gave the international report discussing the quarterfinals of the FA Cup where all the road teams won, the latest from Serie A and the upcoming matches around Europe this week.  Andrew also talked about his trip in England, how the BBC and ITV cover live soccer matches and his visit to the pub in Covent Garden where the rules of modern soccer were finalized by the FA in 1863.

Our US Soccer correspondent, Front Row Soccer's Michael Lewis, talked about the closing of one of the biggest soccer stores in the US on Long Island, the US being awarded the 2031 Women’s World Cup and the US Women beating Brazil 2-0 on Saturday.
