Pellegrin El Kady is a unique musician who was born in the Bijagos Islands of Guinea-Bissau and lived in Cape Verde, Mozambique, Angola, Portugal before moving to Quebec in the mid 70's. After completing graduate school there, he worked as an educator and at the same time devoted much of her time to ethnic music therapy. 

This hard to find album was released in 1986 following his 84' maxi single. As with the previous album, it features many local musicians, including keyboard player Sergio Goncalves with wide range of tunes from Afro to New Wave to Balearic. Includes the smooth Balearic tune "Sahel" and the melancholic synth-pop "Bolanha," which seems to place more emphasis on songwriting. Check the actual audio of this overlooked album.

SaheL is a young Psy-Trance producer born in Córdoba, Spain, with Portuguese roots. 
His sound merges psychedelic elements with groove, twisted synths, funky rhythms and live instruments that shape a fresh, dynamic, and authentic character. 
With influences from full-on and twilight psy, his tracks combine driving energy with a balance of textural and melodic layers.

He grew up surrounded by electronic music and psytrance, influenced by his father, and studied percussion at the music conservatory before diving into production at the age of 13. Since then, music has remained his main form of creative expression.

With performances at events and festivals in Spain and Portugal, SaheL continues to grow as an independent artist, aiming to bring his music to an international audience.
