またしても昔のリミックスを改良したものです。今回は主に、曲の雰囲気により合ったドラムを使うことで全体的にグレードアップさせました。
このゲームは何十年も前にZSNESで遊んだ思い出があって、RPGとしては正直そこまで名作というわけでもないんですが、自分にとっては強いノスタルジーがあります。
中でもこの曲が一番好きで、SFC版の原曲よりもパートを増やしてアレンジしました。ハイハットやエコー効果も追加して、より広がりのあるサウンドにしています。

この曲は、ぜひイヤホンで聴くことをおすすめします。ステレオ感、エコー、リバーブ風の効果をふんだんに盛り込んでいるからです。それと正直に言うと、Savaged Regimeさんのパッチも使わせてもらいました。
原曲（SFC版）は、リバーブやサラウンド効果を最大限に活用していて、スーパーファミコンの性能をフルに引き出したサウンドになっていました。それをFM音源でどう再現するか――持っている手札でなんとか形にするしかないわけで、それが今回の試みです。
スクエア波の音色には軽くビブラートと音量変化を加え、できるだけストリングスっぽく仕上げています。スネアドラムの音は、懐かしさもあって『シャイニング・フォースII』のものを使用。ハープも同作の音をベースに、ちょっとしたSSG-EGの細工でエコー感を加えています。そして今回もFMティンパニが大活躍です。
原曲に負けない出来になったと思っていますが、最終的な判断はあなたにお任せします。

『FFIV』のメインテーマをリメイクしたものを以前作ったのですが、YouTubeやRedditでけっこう注目を集めました。そのときの制作の苦労を語り始めると一日中かかってしまうので、ここでは割愛します。
今回のバージョンは、ゲームに登場する「海バージョン」をイメージして作ったものです。PSGフルートはFM音源に移し、ドラムは不要なので省きました。そして海の音は、SN76489のノイズチャンネルを使って表現しています。
