"Make Room" is a song that always cheers me up. I've been friends with TRUSTMAN since 2015! It's great to get things done. We'd been wanting to make something together for ages. He's a massive fan of UK drill and he asked me to make a beat for it. I was at my parents' place and got the first version of the beat down in The Cave. I sent it to him, thinking we could each rap a verse. TRUSTMAN didn't go for it, though, and sent me a revision asking us to make a posse cut, with eight bars each three times. I made the changes and we went to the studio to record everything. I hope you like this one! Here's some info on Spanish and English.

Emerging in 2025 from Atlanta, Georgia, United States, Slyce x Hustle blends hip hop, rap, and boom bap into a genre-defying sound. Slyce x Hustle represents the collision of legacy and hunger—two voices, one undeniable chemistry.

It all began in 2006 at LA Fitness, where pickup basketball games turned into freestyle sessions that revealed something rare: the kind of natural chemistry that can't be manufactured—think Nas and Jay-Z trading bars, pushing each other to higher heights. What started on the court evolved into years of collaboration, culminating in performances together at shows and the development of a creative partnership that never truly stopped, even when life pulled them in different directions.

Slyce, born in Buffalo, NY, carries music in his DNA. His father founded the legendary Process and the Doo Rags, discovered by Rick James, which earned gold albums and a permanent place in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and the Brooklyn Museum. Music wasn't a choice—it was an inheritance. Since 2008, he's been translating that legacy into his own language, recording through relocations from Buffalo to Florida to Georgia, always with the pen sharp and the perspective wider. His path has also taken him through film, appearing in Van Wilder 3: Freshman Year and Black Panther as a Border Tribe member.

Hustle, straight out of Passaic, New Jersey, never stopped writing. Even when paths diverged, he kept sending rhymes to Slyce, keeping the flame lit. His dedication to the craft remained constant—bars honed in notebooks, verses refined in the margins of daily life, always sharpening the blade.

Now, both family men—Slyce with four children, Hustle with three—they're back in the booth sounding like they never left. The storytelling is sharper. The lyricism is at an all-time high. The bars hit harder because they're lived in, earned through years of experience, sacrifice, and growth.

Slyce x Hustle isn't a comeback. It's an arrival. And their forthcoming EP, Built Before The Algorithm, is proof—real hip-hop crafted before the culture became a formula, now refined for a world that needs it.

Hey! Thank you for being here and enjoy the fruits of hard work. I have been making music on a daily basis since the year of 2011, back when I was in my freshman year of high school, but my first projects were made in 2008, back when I was in my sophomore year of junior high. Making music has always been a key element in my life because it is a talent we all share in my family. 

I started with a Gateway computer running Windows 7 and FL Studio 9. Then I landed on Ableton Live, the DAW that took my heart by storm. I finally arrived at what would become my true musical endeavour: sampling old records on an MPC. This all would become something like a musical dream since I started wanting to make songs without a DAW or PC for that matter. 

I went down on a scavenger hunt and found the Tascam Model line up and bought a Model 24.

This machine helped me as it was an entry level product for DAWless production. That’s how songs such as “It’s On” or “Yall Hedz” came to be. By producing then on an MPC plugged straight on to the PC serving as a hub to the Tascam Model 24. So I created my debut album “ArK Of All Trades” a Frankenstein mix between DAWless production and a dance made by both FL Studio and Ableton. 

Now, I’m working on my Sophomore Album.

So to me this is simple, to just make songs I think are “listenable” since I had a pretty rocky start on this. People would tell I’m -not- cut for this (ouch). So I’m not here to chase clout or claiming a fame pass. I produce the songs that come from the gut of my heart and the truth of my soul.

Speaking of truth, I was also a drug addict who had to battle addiction against drugs such as cocaine and 2-CB. It was the worst 8 years of my life. I started smoking pot on a weekly basis in my sophomore year of high school, something that escalated. I still remember my female classmates hating on me because I would come to class high as fuck and smelling of weed. It was all crazy bad, but it was part of my story. I wouldn’t deny part of my history since it has always been what fuels what I put on my lyrics.

Speaking of another more hard hitting truth: I’m a native speaker of the Spanish language. This is because I was born in Chile.
