Daniel Rumbekwan Teriakkan Keresahan Sosial Lewat “Wrong Wray”

Single terbaru dari album “ROH” yang membawa semangat rock grunge 90-an dengan nada perlawanan.

Madiun, Oktober 2025. Setelah membuka perjalanan album terbarunya “ROH” dengan single “Introduce”, musisi asal Madiun Daniel Rumbekwan kembali melepas karya terbaru bertajuk “Wrong Wray”, sebuah lagu yang memadukan energi rock grunge 90-an dengan frasa sosial yang tajam dan reflektif.

Dalam “Wrong Wray”, Daniel menghadirkan narasi tentang nation pride yang bertabrakan dengan realitas sosial-politik. Baris lirik “my flag my pride, colours red and white, but I see the pole is black” menjadi simbol kontras antara idealisme dan kegelapan sosial. Melalui nada-nada distorsi dan vokal yang penuh tekanan emosional, Daniel menggambarkan rasa kecewa terhadap sistem yang dinilai “salah arah”.

“Lagu ini bukan tentang kebencian, tapi tentang kegelisahan,” ungkap Daniel. “Aku menulis Wrong Wray saat merasa bahwa banyak hal di sekitar kita mulai kehilangan makna. Semangat rock di lagu ini jadi medium untuk menyalurkan energi itu. Jujur, keras, tapi masih punya harapan.”

Sebagai bagian dari album “ROH”, Wrong Wray terasa seperti nadi utama dengan detak yang menggerakkan seluruh konsepnya. Daniel tidak hanya sedang bereksperimen dengan genre, tetapi juga sedang berdamai dengan dirinya sendiri, dengan kenyataan, dan dengan roh musik yang pernah menyalakan semangat banyak orang dua dekade lalu.

Dalam proses kreatifnya, Daniel kembali bekerja sama dengan Wido Setyasmoro selaku mixing dan mastering engineer, yang turut membentuk karakter sonik lagu ini agar terdengar mentah namun dinamis. Sentuhan Wido menjaga esensi grunge yang kasar dan organik, tapi tetap kuat secara produksi.

“Daniel membawa semangat 90-an yang tulus, bukan sekadar nostalgia. Ia punya keresahan yang nyata, dan itu terdengar di setiap track-nya,” kata Wido.

Wrong Wray bekerja di dua lapis. Di permukaan, ia adalah lagu rock yang bertenaga, dengan struktur sederhana dan pukulan emosi yang langsung menghantam. Tapi di bawahnya, ada lapisan makna yang jauh lebih dalam: tentang arah sosial, tentang hilangnya nurani, tentang manusia yang mulai asing di tanahnya sendiri.

Sebagai bagian dari album “ROH”, “Wrong Wray” menjadi bab penting dalam eksplorasi musikal Daniel Rumbekwan. Jika “Introduce” adalah pengantar energi baru, maka “Wrong Wray” adalah bentuk pernyataan sikap  sebuah kritik sosial yang lahir dari rasa cinta terhadap persada, dibungkus dalam distorsi dan semangat rock yang membebaskan.

Welcome to Logical Miracle, a project where a lifelong dream meets the cutting edge of technology, brought to life by two passionate creators, one a musician and songwriter, the other an edu tech enthusiast who turns ideas into reality.

Like many, my journey started with big dreams as a child. I imagined myself as a musical genius, learning to play the recorder and later moving on to the violin and guitar. Back then, I had no idea how challenging the music industry could be. As life moved on, new adventures like jobs, holidays, and eventually starting a family took over, and my musical dream slowly faded into the background.

But the story didn’t end there. Over the past 40 years, technology has evolved in incredible ways, creating opportunities that were once unimaginable. Social media has reconnected us with old friends and memories, while AI and music software have revolutionised how we create and share music. The music industry, once an exclusive club, has had to adapt, leaving space for new voices to emerge.

This is where Logical Miracle was born, a collaboration between my love for music and the technical genius of my partner. For years, I wrote poems, not realising they were songs in waiting. Today, with the help of AI, music production software, and my tech-savvy partner, we’ve brought those words to life. The dream of working in a big studio isn’t necessary anymore; with the right tools and expertise, we’re able to create professional-quality music right from home.

Logical Miracle is the result of this collaboration. It’s not just a musical project, it’s a testament to the power of dreams and the possibilities that technology brings. What started as a simple idea has blossomed into something much bigger, a dream shared and fulfilled. Now, it’s time for our music to be heard.
