A swampy, slow-burn blues sermon straight from the back room of a roadhouse on the wrong side of town. Tender Mercies stomps and sways in the vein of Exile, mixing chants with street-preacher grit, lust-soaked confessionals, and jagged bits of raw poetry. Over a smoky, ramshackle groove, voices trade in sin and salvation, lust and judgment — from priests to pushers, bikers to rabbis, angels to hustlers. The music drips with basement tape warmth, the bass thumps like a heartbeat in a fever dream, and the guitars bite like they’ve been soaked in whiskey. This is blues as both ritual and reckoning — part revival meeting, part back-alley showdown, where God, the Devil, and the human heart all want a piece of the same tender mercy.
