Neuralis whose real name is Roberto Martinez is a Spanish DJ and producer originating from Granada. His interest in electronic music started at a very young age and has consumed his adult life.

His initial exposure to electronic music developed in his home town to the sounds of Techno and House. At his first major event Creamfields in Almeria, Spain he was introduced to Progressive House and other melodies by artists such as John Digweed, James Holden and Hernan Cattaneo.

He got his first pair of decks aged just nineteen and started to perform at venues across his home town. As he gained experience and a bigger repertoire he started to venture further performing in cities such as Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, and Málaga.

He has shared the wheels of steel with renowned heavyweights including Guy J, Darin Epsilon, Quivver, Nick Muir, Kamilo Sanclemente, Quivver, Cid Inc, Hernan Cattaneo, and many more. His productions focus on Melodic and Progressive House and Techno and he has releases on a fair few labels.

He's currently based in Seville and holds regular events across the urban sprawl in collaboration with other electronic artists based in the city and beyond. His main focus is to develop his production abilities and release quality melodies in the coming year.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 2,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

Started as a bedroom/attic dj in 1997 with a basic mixer and some cd-players.

 After some savings I purchased my SL1200 MKII and Ecler Smac42 mixer. Then the real learning process could start.

My biggest influence was Olivier Pieters (Boccaccio,Ckomilfoo,Zillion,...) and ofc the huge choise in stores like Music Man Ghent and Strictly Dance. I was searching for my own sound till one of my mate's took me too a place I never been before: Extreme on monday's with PHI PHI. It changed my world in terms of music. Ever since you can hear progressive and minimal influences in my sets.

 My first "public" appearance was in Dj's @ home, together with my brother we performed a B2B set. Afterwards I enterd the contest: DJ ACADEMY hosted by Mike Thompson. I was one of the lucky ones who could warm up in La Rocca and Cherrymoon (small room) and was scheduled on the 48h Reunion party of Zillion which sadly enough never took place. Afterwards I was resident for 1 year in P&B (Dendermode) on sundays (2005-2006). From then on I played for friends and mostly for my self and kept following the progressive scene. 

 Nowadays I still keep following the music and try to make a set from time to time.
