The opener wastes no time—it grabs hold of you with hypnotic, driving, percussive textures that pull you into its relentless flow. From there, "Surge," the title track, takes center stage unleashing it’s relentless energy that is both crushing and captivating, embodying the EP’s core intensity.
 
"Defracted" shifts gears, embracing a more minimalist, purist aesthetic. Playful drum patterns and fragmented vocal cuts intertwine, creating a raw yet detailed soundscape. Each track is a testament to the duo's mastery, blending technical precision with an instinctive feel for the dancefloor.
 
“Effect” is a dub-infused techno track crafted to transform the dancefloor. La Serpiente Perdio Su Rumbo once again brings Oroquieta’s tougher sound as pounding drums back looped out synths before Amazing Dance closes out the release with distorted and unyielding power.
