Ao longo do Set além da participação do Cantor Keith Nunnally, tem a participação do Ron Carroll nos vocais, nas produções das suas versões originais, como também remixes de outros produtores, mas com  participação seja cantando, produzindo ou compondo, afinal o importante é a participação, onde Ron Carrol influenciou outros produtores a remixar suas faixas,  pelo reconhecimento que ele teve.

Em um intervalo de apenas duas semanas, a cena house de Chicago se despediu de duas vozes lendárias. No dia 7 de setembro, partiu Keith Nunnally, barítono de timbre marcante e profundamente influenciado pelo gospel e pelo soul, voz poderosa, confesso que na track  Let The Music Take Control, eu literalmente viajei, não só em sua voz, como também na produção dos arranjos, afinal quem estava por trás da produção era o grande Steve Silk Hurley, na qual o Keith Nunnally tinha o projeto JM Silk, simplesmente magnífico . Pouco depois, em 21 de setembro, foi a vez do cantor e DJ Ron Carroll nos deixar. Neste sábado, realizaremos um set especial em tributo a esses dois artistas que ajudaram a moldar a história da House Music.

RON CARROLL, Dj Produtor, vocalista e compositor, morreu aos 57 anos, nascido em CHICAGO, iniciou sua trajetória musical em corais de igreja antes de migrar para o emergente movimento da House Music no Final dos anos 80's e início dos anos 90's.

Ele lançou seu primeiro single, "My Prayer", em 1993. Um ano depois, após um encontro casual com Louie Vega na Winter Music Conference, ele escreveu a letra do clássico clubber "I Get Lifted", de Barbara Tucker, marcando o início de uma carreira prolífica que misturou gospel, soul e dance music.

Conhecido amplamente como o “Ministro do Som”. Segundo relatos CARROLL faleceu em decorrência de ataque cardíaco, Sua morte representa uma perda profunda para a comunidade global da House Music, principalmente CHICAGO, onde ele ajudou a moldar a House Music por mais de 3 décadas com seus vocais com influências Gospel. 
Sua voz era marcante, fácil de saber que era o Carrol, aquela coisa de Pregador, o que fez lhe render o apelido de “Ministro do Som”.

Dentre suas colaborações como: LUCKY STAR  do SUPERFUNK, BACK TOGETHER do HARDSOUL, WHAT A WONDEFUL WORLD de BOB SINCLAR e AXWELL, e o grande Sermão da House Music THE SERMON de Ron Carroll, sua voz era inconfundível.

Além de vocalista foi um dj que produzia muito e era dono de gravadora, com várias turnês pela Europa, Ásia e Américas, era uma referência na comunidade internacional da House Music com muito Soul. Carroll deixa um legado, que uniu GOSPEL, SOUL , uma voz que definiu uma geração da House Music.

Eu sempre gostei dos sermões da House Music, sempre coloco nas minhas Intro de sets mixados, do RON CARROLL, do EDDIE AMADOR, do CHUCK ROBERTS, dentre outros e o sermão de Ron, "It's All About House Music", pela Subliminal Records, sempre será uma acapella de pregadores, como também a sua colaboração com o colega de Chicago, outra legenda chamado Mike Dunn, no EP SERMON.

As contribuições de Carroll para a house music foram além da performance. Sua capacidade de fundir elementos espirituais e soul com a energia das pistas de dança fez com que seu trabalho se destacasse em um período em que o vocal house moldava a cultura club em todo o mundo.

Ele deixa um trabalho que influenciou produtores, vocalistas e DJs ao longo de gerações, e um legado que reflete tanto as raízes quanto a evolução da house music.

Homenagens começaram a surgir online de toda a comunidade da dance music, lembrando Carroll não apenas por sua arte, mas também por seu carinho e mentoria.

I was born in the late 60's, but only in the late 70's I got to absorb the disco era. I was a listener, but always with a keen sense. It was where everything began, a passion for eletronic music.

In the 80's, these most intensely lived, and for me one of the best. I absorbed a generation of true musicians, which adds even more knowledge and feeling.

Nowadays, with all knowledge that I have gotten, I look intensely all the songs of the past. I really miss those times and I do not deny. After all, having this feeling is a spiritual universe, where we bring with us in our lives, everything good that we got. It is our story on a journey throughout time, going back, reviving às if it were the first time, remembering, inventing everything again making the "now" become Alive as in the pas, becoming a source of life.

Music is a cycle that goes back and forth. As I mentioned, I miss those times, but I did not stop in time, I enjoy the pasta and the present. I think I do define myself as an only style. I always say I like music and with the keen sense I have, I listen to the songs and if I believe they sound good to my ears, that's what I will believe. House is the base. However, in my sets there might be a tech house, a techno, or rather any Söns that may please my ears.

Nowadays, I live intensely researching everything from the past until the current days.

Nasci no final de 60's, logo, fui absorver a era DISCO já no final de 70's, era ouvinte, mas sempre com um feeling aguçado. Foi onde tudo começou a paixão pela Música Eletrônica.

Nos anos 80's, esses mais vividos intensamente, e para eu um dos melhores, absorvi uma geração de verdadeiros musicistas, o que veio acrescentar ainda mais o conhecimento e o feeling.

Hoje, com todo conhecimento que absorvi, busco intensamente todas as músicas do passado, sou sim, verdadeiro SAUDOSO, e não me nego ser saudoso, afinal a saudade é um universo espiritual, onde trazemos conosco em nossas vidas tudo de bom que absorvemos, é a nossa história em uma viagem pelo tempo, indo atraz, revivendo como se fosse a primeira vez, lembrando, recordando, podendo inventar tudo novamente, fazendo com que, o agora, torne vivo como no passado, tonando-me fonte de vida.

A música é um ciclo, vai e volta. Como falei acima, sou saudoso, porém, não parei no tempo, curto o passado e o presente. Acho que não me defino por um estilo somente, gosto sempre de falar que gosto de música, e com o feeling aguçado que tenho, ouço as músicas, e se eu acreditar, soar bem aos meus ouvidos, é o que acreditarei. A House é a base, entretanto, em meus sets, pode ter um Tech House um Techno....ou melhor qualquer música que agradar aos meus ouvidos.

Hoje, vivo intensamente pesquisando, desde tudo do passado, até os dias atuais.
