Meet early February for the release of the complete EP 'Back II Basics' alongside first single 'Brian's Classico'.

He got to play his last gigs in Tbilisi, Essaouira, Termoli, Mallorca, Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Madrid and Geneva over those last months, and 2024 is already looking in with some exciting parties, label's projects and many releases ahead.

French producer, DJ, and label owner, Le Hutin rose through the ranks of the underground house scene in founding his first label, De La Groove (2017–2023),  later Basics Recording (2024). Drawing inspiration from Soul, Funk, Groove, and Jazzy styles, he crafts a unique blend of UK-influenced, no sample-driven Garage House fed with his own recordings.

Le Hutin is self taught musician since the age of 11. With a keen ear, he learned guitar and piano, drawing influences from Punk Rock, Hip-Hop, and Blues.
 2021, he released his first full-length LP, The Sexophonist which explored a fusion of Jazz and Soulful music with UK House beats, patterns, and sound design. This release quickly earned recognition as "one to watch" from Traxsource, Juno Download, DJ Mag, and Beatport.

Following his debut Dive LP (2022), he released his first album, Expectations ?! in 2023, marking his departure from De La Groove. In 2024, he launched his new label, Basics Recording, with Back II Basics EP, opening the door to a string of upcoming releases, and a second full length 23 tracks album - to be served in June.

A former resident at Djoon, Rex, Cabaret Sauvage, and La Bellevilloise, Le Hutin has played at these iconic venues alongside an impressive roster of DJs, including Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, Jimpster, Mousse T., Atjazz, Coeo, Cody Currie, Black Loops, Fouk, Don Carlos, Stacy Kidd, Crackazat, Mijangos, Mark Di Meo, Felipe Gordon, Tour-Maubourg, Fouk, Angelo Ferreri, Art of Tones and 20+ more.

Growing up in the cosmopolitan cities of Hong Kong, Tokyo and Toronto, Kevin’s love for electronic music was kindled at a formative age after witnessing older schoolmates manipulating vinyl on a pair of Technic 1200s and a rusty mixer. What started off as a natural curiosity in turntable artistry; had eventually become a full-fledged passion and drive for aptness for the art form.
Starting out in 2003 and being bitten by the ever popular Progressive House sound of the Twilo era, Kevin’s discernment in music evolved towards the deeper, edgier and more minimal sounds of House and Techno. Not adhering to the latest trends, Kevin’s sets can be described as playful and unpredictable, yet musical and groovy at the same time.
Having already played at some of Singapore’s well established venues such as Kyo, Cato, Kilo Lounge and Sofitel, Kevin is eager to spread his trademark sound within the city state as well as beyond.
