This song came from staring straight into the reality of broken trust. It’s about that moment when the weight of promises and lies collides, leaving only anger and exhaustion. Writing “Why Do I Try?” was like pulling shrapnel out of my chest — messy, painful, and necessary. Every chorus line is a scar turned into sound, a reminder that sometimes survival comes from letting the anger breathe before it finally lets you go.
