”‘Fungal Frequencies’ is a glitchy, meditative and playful electro track – inspired by the hidden communication network of fungi.
Using textures, glitch effects and subtle rhythmic shifts, the soundscape evolves organically.
Processed with SP-404 effects such as DJFX Looper, Reverb, Delay, and Isolator.
No quantization – the groove flows naturally, mirroring the nonlinear language of the mycelial world.

Made for Dibia$e Flip Sessions #24 using a combination of the SP-404 MKII as a jumpoff point for chops and some initial FX, and then sequenced, mixed, and further dirtied up on the MPC Live 2 in standalone using 3.x firmware.

Varón de 11 años influenciado por el sonido de control machete, el graffiti y el skateboarding, sin tener idea de lo que la cultura hip hop representa. Inicia su sueño por querer girar discos y manipular tornamesas. Posteriormente conoce a un grupo de jóvenes que tienen el gusto por rapear y pasa a ser integrante de Líderes Locales crew, dónde se andentra en las el mundo de las rimas, y con el apoyo de su crew logra obtener una tornamesa en sus manos, tomando el gusto por el sampling y la producción musical en el género del rap. Unos años más tarde, retoma un proyecto llamado Fat Roots, que inicio como fiestas compartiendo música en formato vinilo, tomando el gusto por el reggae, Rocksteady, ska y roots, nutriendo su biblioteca musical. 

Hoy en día sigue activo en Fat Roots, Líderes Locales Cresw, Terminal172Rec, entreotros proyectos de producción musical, tiene el gusto por la música en general y ama reproducir discos en vinilo.
