Falling Prayer

Un brano che utilizza una Korg Drum Machine e una Telecaster nasce dall’incontro tra l’elettronica e il suono crudo della chitarra elettrica.

La Korg Drum Machine fornisce la base ritmica: pattern di cassa, rullante e hi-hat programmati, spesso dal carattere preciso e regolare, che creano una griglia solida. Questo dà al pezzo un andamento costante, quasi meccanico, ma con la possibilità di variare suoni e texture (kick profondi, snare elettroniche, percussioni più sintetiche).

La Telecaster, con il suo timbro brillante e definito, si appoggia su questa base ritmica. Può offrire riff secchi e taglienti, tipici del rock e del funk, oppure linee melodiche più dolci e ariose, grazie al pickup al manico. La combinazione tra la ritmica elettronica e il suono naturale della chitarra crea un contrasto interessante.

Il risultato è un brano che unisce la precisione della macchina con l’espressività dello strumento:

Then the Tele comes in, cuttin’ through with that sharp, bright tone. You can riff gritty and raw, throw in some funky chops, or smooth it out with a warmer lead. Either way, it’s got that bite the Tele’s known for.

When you stack ‘em together, you get this dope contrast: machine precision from the Korg, human feel and grit from the guitar. The drums hold it down, keepin’ the groove on lock, while the Tele brings the soul and the edge.

It’s basically the clash of digital and analog—but in a way that makes the track breathe and bang at the same time.

Italian DJ, producer, and 3D artist born in 1981, Ricky Deep has been shaping experimental electronic music since 2000. From his early project Molekola to the live-synth duo Absynth, he developed a signature sound blending analog synths, vinyl DJ sets, and immersive effects. Career highlights include residencies at Deep Club in Modena, performances in Ibiza, and the founding of the independent label Mobility Records.

Today, Ricky Deep fuses music, visual arts, and 3D in his live sets, creating unique audio-visual experiences. He also collaborates with PanDeMia Radio in Lima and co-organizes the ELEKTRO & SUMMER Festival, celebrating electronic music, visuals, and live performances. His artistic purpose is to leave a lasting imprint on the world—a trace of his passage through sound and vision.
