Emotional Intelligence (Rabbi Sacks on Ha'azinu, Covenant & Conversation)

This noble prayer is attributed to Imām ʿAbd al-Salām ibn Mashīsh al-Ḥasanī (raḥimahu Allāh), the spiritual master of Imām Abū’l-Ḥasan al-Shādhilī. It is a luminous invocation of blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, filled with deep meanings of love, reliance, and connection to the Divine.

This ṣalāt is recited for drawing divine mercy, protection, spiritual illumination, and steadfastness on the path of Allah. Many seekers find it a source of inner peace, clarity, and nearness to the Prophet ﷺ.

While there is no strict time prescribed, it is often recited in the evenings or during moments of solitude, reflection, or spiritual retreat. Like all blessed litanies, it is recommended to recite it with the permission and guidance of a teacher, as its spiritual depth is vast and transformative.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
