The name of the track is simply "Hey!" This is not a typo lol. Overall, this is my attempt at a "jazzy" sounding Deep House track. Various samples were used as well as old faithful Serum 2 by Xfer Records.

Alright, this one's another acid tech track with elements of hardstyle and psytrance mixed in. This track is very aggressive, quick, and to the point. I designed this one to serve as an "energizer" for playlists and setlists alike. The track consists of both heavily modified samples and instrumentation via Serum 2.

This song was created by sampling a few parts of Never Die (Extended) by Lashia & Sergio Rincon, most notably, I kept the riser and drop from the original track and turned the first note of the main riff into a bass stab. No more than 60 seconds of the original track was used as per the licensure agreement. Around 1:07, the rise and drop come in dragging from the offbeat and quickly resolving back to the downbeat. This is a remnant from the original track that I opted to keep because it adds subtle tension and grabs your attention in a way that does not throw the entire track off (plus, it helps me fulfill the time limit agreement ;)/SOME traces of the original track must be subtly present)

This is a tech house track that incorporates elements of deep house, synthwave via a rolling bassline to add motion, progressive house, and disco. Another layered track, this one is also a bit challenging to master and may or may not be above my current mixing capabilities. The "Wall of Wurlis" also makes a return for this track as a subtle background keyboard.

It is repetitive, yes, but it's techno after all. You create motion and changes via layering rather than chord progressions or melodies, although this one is more melodic than most due to it containing house and disco elements within it. This is also why it contains two drops and why there are several sound effects thrown in here and there throughout the track, including bass squelches, a gong, a reverse crash, a phaser on some tracks, etc. This is a frequent comment I get, which I 100% agree with, and it's absolutely accurate & I always appreciate constructive feedback as this is CRITICAL to putting out good music on the market. Likewise, I enjoy being transparent/upfront with audiences and listeners, and I want to acknowledge that I do take feedback into account, and it has helped me big time. In some cases, it's an intentional/desired effect, such as with this song/too many changes to the track's melody/chord progressions, and it's not techno anymore. The toughest part is finding that balance so you retain that hypnotic effect while keeping the track interesting and engaging. In layman's terms, I don't want anyone to feel ignored or blown off! Your opinion matters!

Legends Never Die

This is the second attempt i've made at a "Kaskade" inspired progressive house track, with my first try being "Afterhours Bliss." This track is heavily trance inspired and takes some synthwave cues as well, such as the rolling bassline. Some tech house elements can also be found throughout the track. This was made via heavy sampling and several Midi tracks via Serum 2 by Xfer Records.

Another short, sweet, and to-the-point synthwave x deep house track that follows closely behind where 'Reverie' left off. This song is built around the entire concept of "nostalgia" and borrows elements from deep house, trance, and old school R&B (think Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison).

Funeral

This is a four-way hybrid track between Tech House, Deep House, and some very faint elements of both Synthwave & Acid House. The idea of this track was to get the hang of side-chaining tracks as well as to create a catchy, easily remixable, and danceable tune with room to grow/opportunities for variations.

Even with some sidechain, the track is a bit crowded. As a result, I added some flange and chorus to the tracks to create movement and space. Reverb and delay were not used in this track as the decay & repeats contributed to the clutter. The flanger was set more aggressively with the final bass lead of the track to help it cut without overwhelming the entire composition.
