Patrick van Kerckhoven, known by the pseudonym DJ Ruffneck but also known by names such as Ruffneck Prime, 80 Aum, Overmind, The Bazeman, Undercover Anarchist, Wedlock, Juggernaut and D'Spyre, (Alblasserdam, November 2, 1970) is a Dutch DJ and producer.

He has been active as a DJ since 1985, mainly within the gabber house. In this genre he would be the starter of the darkcore music movement. He gained national fame in 1997, when his mix Ruffneck rules da 'artcore scene!!! reached 8th place in the Dutch Top 40.

With the 'death' of his artcore scene, he has stepped more into the background and is responsible for Cardiac Music, its (sub) labels, and artists.

DJ Ruffneck is nowadays again active with his Enzyme records and sublabels.

Ophidian is the stage name of Dutch-born DJ and producer Conrad Hoyer (September 1, 1981). Ophidian mainly produces hardcore and darkcore music. On some records he combines different styles.

Hoyer recorded his first songs and mixes in 1993 when he was around eleven or twelve years old. He did this with the help of keyboard and cassette recorders. In 1995 he started using the computer for his music. He was able to release his music in demo form through the Ruffneck label and so he was eventually picked up by DJ Ruffneck (Patrick van Kerckhoven) in 1998, when he was sixteen, and he got a contract for his two labels, Gangsta and Supreme Intelligence. He didn't have a real permanent name then; his first songs came under the name Trypticon and later the name Ophidian followed. At first he did not achieve much success, but enough to be offered a new contract in 2001 by Enzyme Records. There he was given the space he was looking for, to be seriously involved with music and school, where he also did a music direction. He built his own recording studio. A little later he also founded the sub-label Enzyme X.

Ophidian's real breakthrough came after he released the song "Butterfly VIP". Thanks to this song he played at many parties like Thunderdome and Masters of Hardcore.

"Knightvision is an artists that does not appear that much on a label. But when she creates music, you know it has something special. This mysterious lady is labelmanager of Enzyme K7. In the past she created a lot of classic hardcore tunes. Her tracks are always easy to recognize because of the special atmosphere she creates. The identity of Knightvision is hardcore's best kept secret."

On October 27th 2017 Patrick van Kerckhoven confirmed in a video on his facebook page that Knightvision was indeed an alias of himself, DJ Ruffneck. He also claims the rumors about it being some mysterious lady were not started by him.
