“Stuck” is an immersive audio-visual experience: a live session album captured entirely in 360° video, placing the viewer at the very center of the performance. The album explores the many shapes of entrapment — emotional, relational, physical, societal, and temporal. Each track is a different room within the same inner maze. A body-and-soul experience — meant to be seen, heard, and felt.”

Reviver, Portugese for reliving, reliving a moment, a feeling or a heartbreak.


The creation of this album started with an 8 day trip to Porto Portugal.

Inspired by the roughness of the rocks on the beachside.

By the slow way of living and the southern sun.

Inspired by years of friendship and years of stories.
 
By years of struggles and years of fears.

By years of memories and years of reliving those memories.

This was not meant to sound aesthetic and pleasing to the ears. It's just a musical journal entry of the complicated mix of emotions I feel right now, so that I feel better after releasing it. Also, an experimentation of going out of the standard chords and rules. And allowing my body and fingers to move however they feel like without caring how I sound or controlling the outcome. Just letting the process unravel.

August feelings - a spontaneous flow to release the pent up emotions

Holding fixed expectations of ourselves, others or outcomes can be a limitation and lead to disappointment and disagreements. ‘Should’ can be our downfall, closing the door to hidden possibilities. Better to keep an open mind and heart and see life as a continuous journey, often leading to unexpected places and a deeper understanding.
 
Our speaker this evening, Urvashi Patel will be sharing her thoughts, experience and learning on the many aspects of this important topic.
 
Urvashi has been with the Brahma Kumaris from a young age. Originally from Bradford, Urvashi has become an integral part of the International Coordinating Office of the Brahma Kumaris in London. Her friendly and adaptable nature has led her to play a wide variety of roles which span from producing large scale public events to supporting the maintenance of BK centres across the UK. She enjoys teaching Raja Yoga meditation and using practical examples when teaching and sharing.

Brahma Kumaris, UK was established as a Registered Charity in 1975 and charges no fees for any of its activities, being funded by voluntary contributions.
