Went more into my minimal side for this special event from the gang over at Subverse Events who for this one paired up with the big dawgs at Flexout Audio :)
Besides the minimal tracks I also throw in hints of my normal jungle flavours and a splash of liquid.

NOORCOTICS:

NOOR: This part of the name is inspired by the Persian/Arabic name "Noor" (which is also my surname shortened) which means "light" or "brightness". It could also be interpreted as "noir" meaning "black" in French, which suggest a contrast or combination of light and dark elements.

COTICS: This suffix doesn't seem to have a direct meaning, but is a play on the word "narcotics”, which refers to drugs. It suggest something potent, addictive, or intoxicating in the context of music.

Combining these parts, NOORCOTICS can be interpreted as a juxtaposition of light and dark or as something bright and captivating with an edge or hint of intensity, similar to the effects of narcotics but in a musical context.
