The Flight of Peace

Thank you for sticking with me and listening to my songs every day. I notice the ones who show up, the ones who keep coming back, the ones who let my music into their life. I hope these songs have given you as much strength and peace as they’ve given me. I write them to lift the soul and the spirit, because in these times we need every bit of light we can get.

The only thing I can tell you is this. Never give up on yourself. If you want something, you have to work for it, and sometimes you have to work hard as shit to get anywhere. But I believe in you. I am Anke from Germany and I have been writing poems since my childhood. Lots of my songs are just these poems put into a song by giving them a melody that fits. Lots of my songs are telling stories about my life and about who I am and some of my songs are just made out of my thoughts and feelings. SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
