Saman Wilson was born on June 17, 1985 in Tehran. At the age of 16, he published his first song and also the first song of Zedbazi band named Dis Ajili. This song is the first studio song in the history of Persian rap, after which other rappers started recording their songs professionally. He is known as the father of Persian rap due to the remarkable impact he had on the growth and spread of Persian rap among the youth of that time. Saman Wilson was one of the first rappers who started to stylize and bring pleasant and attractive flows as well as using multi-syllable rhymes in his poems. Many rappers after him were influenced by the works of this rapper in their early career, including Pouriya Putek, Tik Taak Group (Catchi Beats and Sina Maafi), Wantones band, Hiphopologist, Justina, Arash Saretan.
