I first tried DJing in June of 1998, using a broken Technics 1200 and an unreliable belt drive turntable from a local thrift store. I wasn't competent until after picking up real 1200s a year later, but that summer was the departure point for the many twists and turns of my DJ life.

Now it's 25 years later. I have little to show in the way of fame or money, but I'm rich in friends, music and memories. I'm celebrating those loves in the best way I can, by sharing music from throughout the long, weird journey.

I'll be performing one livestream mix a month from January to June of 2023, then putting the live cut on Soundcloud a few days later. Some will be broadcast from my basement, some from live gigs, and some from who knows where? Each mix will cover distinct tempos and styles I've played over the years, all while maintaining the heady, melodic, sometimes dark vibes that characterize all my music.

I hope family, friends and fans join me for any or all of the 6+ mixes. The February edition features dark, weird, deep progressive house from the likes of Bedrock and more, spanning all but six of the last 22 years and getting really weird for a while there.. AKA "Can You Diggers It?"

this is the shorter version of the remake of 'Copenhagen' - originally on 2006's 'Ambition' album.
this shorter version goes straigt into the breakdown and builds it back up.  
it starts with some porno like sounds.  which i can't remember whether i recorded them from a DVD (remember those!) - or it was a recording of a previous girlfriend. (Julia).  anyhow, it's only there for a bit.
this is one of those tracks made with 'Northern Exposure' (Sasha& Digweed's seminal mix album) in mind.  
the original chord sequence came from reversing some electric guitar playing that I couldn't get in time (due to being rubbish at playing) - reversed, it worked.  and from there.... nearly 20 years later, we get to this.  
i'll put up the full mix version as well - burt experience tells me that 9min long tracks don't get many listens!! haha.  enjoy!

Darin Epsilon is a globally renowned DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner, widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. As the host of the Perspectives radio show and podcast, he has reached tens of thousands of listeners each month, solidifying his influence within the global dance music community. Since launching his label Perspectives Digital in 2010, Darin has continually expanded his artistic reach, further establishing himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Originally from Chicago, Darin’s early career was shaped by his pivotal residency at the legendary Vision Nightclub. This was followed by his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked with renowned brands such as Insomniac at Exchange LA, GIANT at Avalon and Vanguard, and Monday Night Social. His journey continued in 2017 when he relocated to Berlin, the world’s electronic music capital. By 2022, he further cemented his position on the global stage with a highly coveted DJ residency at Ritter Butzke, one of Berlin’s most beloved venues. 

Darin's career milestones are a testament to his pure talent and determination. In 2011, he gained international recognition by winning John Digweed’s 'Structures Two' DJ Competition, sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live, and in 2016, he was nominated for 'Best Progressive House Artist’ at the Beatport Awards. Tacoma, WA-based Devin Kelly (AKA Adlib) has been an unwavering techno activist for over 25 years. Whether it was through his beginnings in small town Idaho or his decade-plus residencies with the Shameless (Seattle) and Monkey Do (Los Angeles) DJ crews, he has long been a centerpiece of the regional dance music underground. His mixture of heady yet crowd rocking house and techno cuts earn him regular headlining spots at clubs, renegade parties and festival across the Western US and beyond. But he is best known for his co-creation of the legendary Esthetic Evolution music and arts festival and his long career as a political and community organizer. These backgrounds bring a sense of collective empowerment, resistance and celebration into all of his DJ sets and events. His newest project, “For Love and Struggle,” uses music, community and social commentary to bridge these worlds, because there are 33 revolutions on the turntable and one in the streets.
