The idea for THE MUSIC IN MY LIFE was an attempt to document the history of music in my life in a song. Jazz with brass bands has been replaced by rock and pop. In the USA, jazz musicians found work with labels. Soul and R&B found their way onto the orchestral stages, which then turned into disco music. I had the pleasure of meeting two people in my life celebrating music in clubs, the rest unfortunately only played records. My song tries to capture the stylistic elements of these eras. 
I recorded the saxophones myself, of course.
I hope you like it.
