Goodbye to My Monkey Girl

Solo voice and electric piano in a classic rock ballad style. The song was inspired by a friend of mine who wanted me to write a song to let her mom (who is in the end stages of Alzheimer's Disease and lives in a nursing home) know how much she loved her. The verses come from specific things she told me about her relationship with her mom (Momma), but the message is universal: "Before it's too late, I'm telling you I love you".

Started writing Music and Lyrics in 1975, player in garage band and bars. Never started working wit my catalog until 2020 during Covid. Started engineering and producing my music under im5150 Studio and artist name im5150ru. This allowed me to start releasing my music on streaming platforms in 2024.
