Tom was a guy who lived in Amersham that George knew.
The verse lyrics were altered not long before the song was recorded although the chorus stayed the same.

Fun Facts:
This tune was inspired by the movie The Man Who Fell to Earth, starring David Bowie.
Originally there were some lyrics, although these were quickly abandoned due to being too silly.
This tune was jammed in the attic of The King's School, Ottery St Mary, where the French assistants did their special lessons.
This jamming took place during the school Project Week of 1982 while the performance of Everyone was being rehearsed.
The glissando guitar was created using a long thin screwdriver with a transluscent yellow handle.

Kiestevsanval is an imaginary utopian place, a city perhaps.
The name came from the combined ends and beginnings of the names of two girls George knew at school.
It was inspired by a different girl who was new to the school in the fifth form.
She was in George's class at school.
She was rather fun and friendly and her name was Anne.
Some of George's father's secret and most esoteric chords are here and there.
The Em9 and Dmaj7 came from Eric Satie's Gymnopedie no. 1.
George had only been playing guitar for about a month or so when he composed this.

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.

     Was signed to Rev Run of the legendary hip hop group RUN-DMC. under that time I worked under Russell Simmons, & Epic/Sony records, then RSMG/Island/Def Jam, as a recording artist.

I worked with him for a couple of years until I took an extended break from music for a few years.
     I now produce in my spare time, between being a fraudster, an active gang member, an assassin for the mob(coast to coast), as well as a very successful driven multi drug kingpin ans slumlord, who in his spare spare time is an acting assistant pimp.
