I made a song about a city I have never been to...

São Paulo is the capital of Brazil’s largest state, also called São Paulo. It is home to more than 41 million people. The city is known for its large helicopter fleet, wet weather, gastronomy and the skyscrapers. It also hosted to 1950 and 2014 FIFA World Cup. São Paulo is ranked among the top 10 most populous cities in the world. It is Brazil’s largest urban area, bigger than Rio de Janeiro. The city has numerous cultural institutions and a rich architectural tradition. Graffiti on the streets of the city has been approved by the city authorities, just like Rio de Janeiro. One famous street is Beco do Batman, an open-air wall-gallery. The art started in the 80s with a single drawing of the DC superhero character batman, other artists soon followed suit and spray painted their art on the walls. The street is located in the Vila Madalena district. Its cobblestone back street is an open-air gallery for some of São Paulo’s finest street artists.

I Wish It Would Stay

One of my contributions for the Sound of Scenesat Vol. 7 Compilation which got released in September 2023

The year was early 2020 - Covid wasn`t a thing yet and we in Insane Demogroup had the insane idea to do an Amiga Release every month for the year 2020. We announced it with the Intro "Resolutions" released at January 9th. I made the music for this intro, a little 4ch chip mod made in about 2 evening sessions. I called this one "hingeklatscht" which is German and kind of means "low effort quick hack".

Track was quite well received and I still liked it one year after.

I was doodling around with 4klang and had the idea to retrack this one in an 8-channel-xm using this amazeballs VST with some chippy instruments. So that is where this silly name comes from. Final touches done in 2023 - and thanks to Ziphoid for pushing me to finalize it just in time for the Sound of Scenesat Compilation

Pyramid Song (Contribution to The Sound of SceneSat Volume 7)

Origininally composed that track for a 4kb-Intro at Nordlicht with LJ which sadly never was finished and crashed at the compo. So I decided to contribute that track to Scenesat for the next "Sound of Scenesat" Compilation after properly finishing it.

So here it is, just about 5 and a half year after release, "fresh" to my Soundcloud Page. Enjoy :)

Regularly tributing to all those Amiga Legends with setting up little Mixtape-a-like Podcasts of old Protracker Tunes

I love Chiptunes an all kinds of electro / house / trance stuff. Hope 1 or 2 out there like my tracks.
