Hi, hope everyone's doing well. After seeing Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and finding out this month's Pixel Mixers contest theme (games based off other media), I knew I had to make this. It's a remix of "Scott Pilgrim Anthem" (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World) mixed with an original melody and meant as a character theme for Older Scott Pilgrim and a battle theme for Even Older Scott. Given the game's aesthetics and the series' frequent video game references, I felt a 16-bit approach (created with a mixture of Musescore instruments and 8 bit synths) was best. I wanted this to be a theme for both a master fighter and a slightly-idiotic slacker (both terms fit Scott and his future selves perfectly). Please give your feedback.
