Alright, so here's the next release! What I wanted to achieve with this track was a more grindy feel to it, like if you can feel the screeching of the grindstone sharpening that knife or sword, like if you can hear and see the sparks come right out of the interaction between metal and stone (wait, does it actually work like that?).

What I wanted to achieve with this track was a more fast paced, intense song with hero-like tonalities while also being sure to have this slightly distorted feel, but with some taste. I'm not in the mood to raep everyone's ears apart with extremely distorted bass drums.

Instead, I just put a timpani as the base of the drum and a tom tom for some flavor and in-betweens, cause I'm not gonna spam a timpani throughout the entire song for the sake of adding notes.

Leave that for [insert future song here].

Grindstone

This story, frankly, is unbelievable. A few weeks ago, we went through many demos on a Sunday evening, and while we appreciate every submission we get, not all of them are home runs. This Sunday was something special, however. We ended up signing five or six solid records, and then, just before calling it a day, we received an email from Ukraine. 

We took a look at a record named 'Groove' by this guy Screechy. Within the first two bars, we were sold on it. We got a hold of this guy within the first two minutes after hearing the record. We loved the creativity behind this record and knew we wanted to push this for him, and we offered him a place on one of our Dimes samplers. 

Then the war broke out. 

We knew we had to do something. And Ilya, being the unbelievable bad-ass he is, kept creating even though his country was and continues to be at war. He sent us the b-side: 'Ah Yeah' from his shelter. Insane. We knew we had to put this record out right away to do something for him. One hundred percent of this record's profits will be given to Ilya.

Hello! I'm EreViGS (S.A.C.R.E.D.), and I make Rhythm-Game music with the hopes to bridge the large variety this subset of music has to the world!

My main focus is to make some experimental or out of the ordinary rhythms, beats, melodies, chords or musical sequences to orchestrate pieces of which at least would be in line with what I want for each song.
