Richard Weirich's career started in 1966 as a trombonist in the U.S. Navy Band.  In 1970 Richard abandoned his music career and made the switch to radio as a program director and morning radio personality in Birmingham, AL; Jackson, MS; Tampa, FL; and Houston, TX.  From 1990 until 2002 Richard served as senior pastor to 2 Southern Baptist churches in Alabama.  In 2007 Richard set out on his own as a voiceover talent and advertising consultant.  In 2011 he went into semi-retirement which has afforded him time to return to his musician roots and a love affair with playing the trombone.
