Our role in prayer is not to get God to do something we think needs to be done, but rather to become aware of what God is doing, respond to it and participate with him in it. In prayer, we are invited to join Him in directing the course of this world and seeing His kingdom come and His will be done on earth!

Faced with the dilemma of what to keep, he chose to tear out pages from the ship’s Bible, highlighting the importance of deciding what is essential in uncertain times.

Inspired by this, the journey of 52 for the Journey was created—a year-long exploration of faith through 52 curated Bible stories, one for each week. Each story includes stunning images and reflective questions to deepen understanding of God's vision for individuals and communities. The journey begins on December 1st, inviting participants to discover the connections between biblical stories and modern life. This initiative guidebook encourages reflection and exploration, offering a meaningful experience throughout the year.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of faith and surrender, lifting up my desires and dreams before Your throne of grace. You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, the One who knows my heart better than I know myself. Today, I stand upon Your Word and declare Your promises over my life.

Lord, as Your Word says in Psalm 20:4,
"May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."
I place my plans, my visions, my calling, and my purpose into Your hands. You are the One who ordains my steps, and I trust that You are leading me into the fulfillment of every divine promise You have spoken over my life. Align my heart with Yours so that my desires reflect Your perfect will. May the dreams You have placed in me be established for Your glory.

Father, I also stand on Psalm 37:4,
"Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
Teach me to delight in You above all things. Let my greatest joy be found in Your presence, in knowing You more deeply, in seeking Your face rather than just Your hand. Transform my heart so that my desires are in alignment with Your kingdom, for I know that when I pursue You first, every other need will be met in abundance.

I declare that my deepest longing is You, Jesus—not just the gifts, the blessings, or the breakthroughs, but the presence of the Living God in my life. Pastor Femi Paul delivered this message titled “If You Turn Aright, Things Will Turn Around!”  A divine reminder that the direction we choose determines the outcome we experience. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 7:8, PFP emphasised that “the end of a thing is better than its beginning”, but only for those who remain steadfast in their walk with God. He admonished believers not just to start right, but to end well, because consistency in doing right is what guarantees a glorious turnaround.

Quoting Jeremiah 29:12–14, PFP highlighted God’s promise: “When you come looking for Me with all your heart, I will make sure you won’t be disappointed — I will turn things around for you!” He explained that divine turnaround is not automatic; it is triggered by a genuine heart that seeks God above all else. To “turn aright” is to realign with God’s will, to walk in obedience, and to delight in Him (Psalm 37:4). When we take delight in the Lord — aligning with His ways and values — our desires begin to match His purpose, and transformation follows naturally. PFP concluded with this encouragement: start right, stay right, and you’ll end well — because when you turn aright, God turns everything around!
