The balance of family, work, and artistry is something I am always after. Attention is everything. Attention pays, but in our distractions, we pay even more. What I mean by that is, the things we choose to give our attention to, will yield certain (positive) results. The downfall is, whatever we missed can't be exactly obtained, and depending on the attention/distraction situation, it could mean paying the price with our physical lives. 
With all that said, it was difficult week for #32weeksMixtape . It has been awhile since I had a been this behind. From finding time, to finding thoughtful/adequate images, there was a moment I thought 31 wasn't going to make the deadline! 
This week is another song dedicated to my wife. It's an honor being your life partner and having the opportunity to grow a family with you. When it seems like light is miles away, I am always grateful to be able to walk through those dark times with you at my side. E, I truly love you...soooo much 💜💚

🙏🏾I want to express all gratitude and love the person reading this right now! I know how fast our lives move. I totally understand that it can be difficult to find a moment to fully digest a longer art type project. #32weeksMixtape would technically be categorized as a  mixtape, but it is so much more. There is art, life, and honesty in this project. I, myself, who sees some cool sh*t and goes straight to the description/comments,  knows that those who do the same, appreciate the work. And for that, thank you - Cato💝

The Way of the Cross

Sooner or later a couple is going to have a conflict.  If conflict is handled in self-centeredness, conflict becomes a wedge;  if handled in love, as the Lord desires, it become glue to the relationship.
Two concepts to remember:
1.  The objective is to resolve the conflict, not win a fight.
2.  When one of you wins, you both lose!

Handling Conflict

Why do we focus on what's wrong instead of what's right?
