These are two tracks which I composed for the german documentary ‚Fungi Monster / Beziehungsweisen‘, which focuses on the intergenerational trauma in the vietnamese diaspora through the story of a fascinating vietnamese-german woman. My productions touch the melancholic side of the emotional spectrum but also mirror a little piece of hope inside.

A few details about the documentary - Synopsis:
Fungi photographs, writes poetry and trains in the MMA professional league. Her free- dom contrasts with the life of her mother, who works in her own shop in Saxony-Anhalt in the east of Germany. Despite their differences, they invite each other into the other‘s world. What is Fungi looking for when she keeps coming back to the same places although they are painful? The film tells of Fungi‘s searching eyes for tender beauty and the question of what belonging and family are.

claude b has been producing for several years, driven by multiple inspirations, from hip hop to classical techno and jungle. Alongside his friends from Solstice303 with whom he organizes parties in different clubs in Nantes (France), he starts to release more tracks.

His method for recording machines and the spontaneity of his rhythms give an almost human and frenetic side to his music, yet very electronic. This 3rd EP Spectral Matters is the mark of it: 3 deep and vibrant tracks, each enhancing in their own way the use of his favorite drum machine.

The track Spectral Matters is a perfect trip switching between different acid basslines, house parts and breaks parts, supported by suspended yet constantly changing textures. The whole at 137 BPM, tinged with the deep color of a very simple chord progression and the aggressiveness of an 808, gives a fast and funky fusion between deep house and trance.

In his debut EP, Montreal producer Somatic (@ddanieldixon) presents four contemplative grooves that shift between chillout, breakbeat, and house.  

The self-titled EP is an exploration of rhythm and atmosphere, starting at a cool 110 BPM with the chillout reflections of “Deep Sauce” and making its way toward the more frenetic jungle of “Solar.” 

The EP’s second track “Unconscious Incompetence” provides a sonic middle ground. While most tracks on the EP are based around busy breakbeats and warm pads, “Unconscious Incompetence” takes a more bare-bones approach. Anchored by a chunky kick and sub bass pattern, it guides listeners along with rolling percussion, vocal samples, and a distant, crackling chord.

Although this is Somatic’s first official release, music has kept him busy for the past decade, working with audio software companies to produce educational material and sample packs while honing his own craft, demonstrated through the occasional Soundcloud offering and live performance.

Nørus, the solo project of music producer Felipe Bortoloti, is about to release his new EP, 'Surrounding Sequences'. With previous releases on renowned labels such as Nerang Recordings, Gestalt Records and Deviant Episode, Nørus is known for his creative versatility and ability to produce various genres of music.

His new release could be described as a blend of IDM, Braindance, Breakbeat and Techno. The EP features three original tracks and a remix, in which Vitor Munhoz, Nørus's partner at Somnum Studio, creates a version of 'Brainsuckers'. The entire Mixing and Mastering process took place at Somnum Studio, which has branches in Porto and São Paulo.

'Surrounding Sequences' will be available in vinyl format in a limited edition of 100 copies, making it a unique piece in the collection of any vinyl and electronic music enthusiast. However, for those who prefer digital streaming platforms, the EP will also be available on all of them next April 21st. Pre-orders are already available on Bandcamp, and it is essential for genre fans not to miss the opportunity to acquire a physical copy of this musical masterpiece.
