The Kingworm's lair was filled with black water flowing down spiraling tin drains. A gigantic pale white cord, twisted around the iron frame, took the place of the mechanized throne. The device, through continuous injections, fed the Kingworm liquefied minced meat. It was ground from the beasts and people caught by slaves in the throne room with the help of a line of meat grinders. The slaves were happy, because they could not imagine their life without serving the Kingworm.
