This track is a bit of an experiment and the first recording I’ve made with my new Sequential Prophet REV2—hence the title.

The workflow was pretty hybrid: I had the Eurorack sequencing the chord progression and controlling the filter on the REV2. For the textured layers, I ran the synth signal through Mutable Instruments Beads and a Qu-Bit Bender, pitched them up an octave, and wove them in as small snippets.

The rest of the soundscape comes from an ATOM (Antumbra’s Elements clone), while the bassline is a simple patch on Plaits modulated by a few LFOs.

Recorded in one take with just a little EQ and compression added in Ableton. Hope you enjoy it.

Stefan Kristinkov: Composer, Arranger, Musician 

Stefan is an eclectic composer, known primarily for his work in independent films, and a clarinettist with an extensive performing background based in New York City.
His music is characterized by its inventiveness in combining diverse, often unexpected elements, blurring the boundaries of styles and genres.
Regardless of being an accomplished musician, music producer and an ambitious composer with years of professional experience, Stefan retains a profound curiosity allowing him to consistently explore new ideas and pursue unique creative solutions.

Techno, Ambient, Synthwave. Inspired by early 90s (Acid, (Hard, Progressive) Trance, Electro, Hardcore), Ambient / Space / Chillout, crossed over and combined with bizarre new elements.
The main ingredients are electronic, futuristic, bizarre, synthetic sounding elements. Mostly combined with some more or less hard techno beats in the range of 140 - 150 bpm.

"YODAHARUKA"

In 1999, he began his career as a DJ in Kobe.
In 2006, he relocated to his hometown Osaka and launched KRAUSS, a minimal party that invited European artists for their first performances in Japan every month. He has served as the opening act for numerous world-renowned artists.
Starting in 2010, he began focusing on music production and live performance.
In 2014, he released BLUE EP under the name Haruka Yoda, followed by We Love Music in 2016.
Since 2018, he has unified both his DJ and production name as YODAHARUKA, and in 2023 released the album GLASS.
In his track production, he uses analog equipment to create warm, rounded sounds across Deep House, Techno, and Disco.
His live sets feature an array of hardware, integrating analog synthesizers with a laptop in a hybrid performance style that has become his signature.
Though not very active on social media and with relatively few public releases, he constantly produces tracks whenever he has free time—making long, four-hour-plus live performances entirely possible. He is, without a doubt, a true track-making addict.

all songs are performed and recorded in one take (mostly on my Tascam model 12). 

my approach is based around a modular synthesiser ( 2x Arturia rackbrute 6U with a total of 352 HP) mounted onto a Arturia Minibrute 2s. polyphony / paraphony comes from Arturia Microfreak and Op1 field. for effects pedals I use endorphins golden master and chroma Console from Hologram electronics.
