Criticisms or encouragement are welcome!

I restructured my previous take, mixed it a little differently, upped the tempo a beat, and added bass (which was previously not there). 

For those who are curious, the reason I restructured it is because A) I was by that point fairly tired of the Off The Rails trumpet ditty it began with, B) it all felt a little disjointed in retrospect, and C) I really wanted it to be more faithful to the original theme as far as what was included in it. (No S3+ ending bit.) I'm more happy with this as it is now, and I believe it to be more accurate.

Instruments by Leah's Music Studio, slightly edited at points by me, and Urthworm, with Linn LM-1 drum samples from MasterOFTrainz (James). Thumbnail picture was made by me in Trainz Simulator 2019. I own nothing, however.

Henry the Green Engine (S1, V2)

Due to the realization tonight that you can only replace tracks on already uploaded ones if you have Pro, I am re-uploading this mashup. :) The main changes are more "stable"/leveled out audio levels and the addition of the previously absent bassline. Other changes include slightly more prominent strings, tweaked flute trills, and the tempo being 1 BPM higher. Aside from these things, I think this is basically the same as before. 

I hope you guys enjoy this fixed-up version, and I want to say thank you for listening to any and all of my tracks. I really do appreciate it!

Bertie the Bus' Theme - Season 1

Ahh, the "Busy" theme. This is one of the few I distinctly remembered from when I was a wee one watching it. A simple theme, but one I just really love. Maybe it's partly nostalgia hehe. I also included the shunting variant found in Thomas and the Trucks.

Busy Engines - Season 1

yay. :D This is considerably similar to the regular version albeit with a brass lead and a less prominent backing flute. I really do like this version though; it's definitely nice as a softer, somewhat less aggressive version of the regular one. (Reupload since the mixing was off, on SC and off it.)

Edward's Day Out - Season 1

The last of the present trio. (...reuploaded for what should be the last time due to mixing still being a bit off towards the end.)

This takes after S.A. Music's extension of Edward's S1 theme, albeit changed a little in the middle of the track. I chose to take inspiration from Mike's rerecord of Edward's theme for the re-intro (if that is the term) before the final G section, which is, somewhat like S.A. Music... (drum roll) Edward's Day Out! I thought it was an amazing choice of Ty's to do this in the first place that I really couldn't imagine it any other way (without just full on ripping off Edward's S2 triumphant theme). Anyway, enough chatter. I hope y'all enjoy!

We are happy to introduce a new upcoming series of releases under the name Scumtapes Singles Selection, or S3 for short! Focusing on singles by many us, our friends & other talented music makers we feel deserve some more attention.

To start out off, we have the ever so talented F. Tate break the ice for us!

F. Tate has been a fresh anchor in the jungle community, only being around for a short few years but making the impact of a seasoned veteran. releasing numerous releases on his own soundcloud & bandcamp pages. His style is often abrasive, with a mixture of harsh gangster rap samples, intricate amen break choppage & basslines to make your knees quiver. With this track, titled "individualty" he presses onward into more experimental Drill & Bass territory, whilst still retaining some the junglist roots he has become known & loved for.

It's Henry time! Again. Perhaps there will be a version 4 sometime in the future, but as for now, I'm very pleased to present Henry's Season 1 theme, revised with better, more accurate instruments, a bridge that is more accurate in flow to that which was heard in 'The Flying Kipper', and other tweaks to make for a more accurate rendition of the green fellow's theme.

I will be honest: I was never fully satisfied with my previous version of this, at least for the Edward's Day Out portions, largely due to a brass that wasn't right. Now, however, thanks to Justin (JTI) and Ethan, I have a brass that works remarkably well. Other things have changed since the last version, but I will let you spot them.

Edward the Blue Engine (Season 1, Remastered)

Hello, guys! This is not only a remaster of my recreation of the Flying Kipper from several months back, but it is also an extended version of the theme! I had an idea for the extension's segue ever since I finished my first version, and it eventually came to fruition. This also had mild inspiration from S.A. Music’s ‘Good Ending’ mix of the “Flying Kipper”.

The Flying Kipper (Season 1, Extended & Remastered)

Long time no see. When I set out to retry recreating this theme, it wasn't initially tied to Britt's passing. I actually just wanted to make use of Connor's lovely Mercury-6 presets, while setting out on a road to recreate more Thomas themes and make some new Thomas-inspired ones too perhaps. However, Britt's passing made the recreation of this theme a little bit more emotionally charged.

Britt was a remarkable businesswoman with extraordinary vision for what could be done with the Railway Series books. Her impact, aided by many, many others who deposited their creative vision into the show, is massive and something for which I'm grateful, even if I didn't always agree with her decisions.

I hope you all enjoy this one, and I hope to bring some more out very soon!

Hi there! I’m Noah, a young man who is, first and foremost, a follower of Yeshua the Messiah who belongs to YeHoVaH the Most High. Consequently, it is my desire to please Him in all I do. My former name for my SoundCloud was “AMusicalExplorer”.

I have always greatly liked music since I was little and what all can be communicated through it.
