Le Chu is characterized by playing house, minimal, and electro with techno influences. She has released her music on several labels in different parts of the world such as Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, Ecuador, Mexico, among others, which has given a boost to her career and has also helped with internationalization and growth in her path within the worldwide electronic scene.

Mit absoluten Feingefühl für die Essenz von Minimal nimmt uns Simeon Fichev aus Sofia (Bulgarien) mit auf eine klangvolle Reise, bei der pulsierende Basswellen und hypnotische Grooves verschmelzen. Inspiriert von der kreativen Energie osteuropäischer Produzenten, die in den letzten Jahren beeindruckende, tanzbare Sounds geschaffen haben, präsentiert Simeon ein Set, das gleichermaßen druckvoll wie subtil ist. Welcome to the July edition of the Village Society Podcast.

This time, we're proud to feature an artist who's deeply rooted in the scene – someone who feels just as at home on the Swabian Jura as behind the decks.

DJ MAW, born in 1987 in Reutlingen, has been active since the early 2000s – as a DJ, underground event host, and sound enthusiast with a big heart for melodic techno and house.

After a longer creative break to focus on his family, he's back behind the decks: hosting the "Nightclub" radio show on Radio Fips, streaming on Twitch and Mixcloud, and appearing at hand-picked events that celebrate underground culture.

His set for us brings warmth, groove, and just a touch of something spiritual – almost like a sermon, but with plenty of room to move.

Das Set startet housig und warm, gleitet in verträumte Flächen und taucht tief in trippige Rominimal- als auch leichtfüßige Minimal-Grooves ein. Knarzig-trockene Percussion trifft auf bouncende Basslines, die subtil antreiben. Wohldosierte Vocals setzen Akzente – mal pointiert, mal sanft koloriert. With Mix No. 022, Philosofiesta, originally from Romania, and Ethane, born in the UK, report in straight from the heart of Vienna – playful, intricate, and full of vibrant sound colors.
The set begins warm and housey, glides into dreamy textures, and dives deep into trippy Rominimal as well as light-footed minimal grooves. Crackling, dry percussion meets bouncy basslines that subtly drive the flow. Carefully placed vocals add highlights – sometimes pointed, sometimes softly colored. A mix to drift away with: between calm moments, energetic arcs of tension, and pulsing climaxes – always in balance.

Mit MIKROMAL #023 zeichnet Valeria Croft aus Helsinki (Finnland) ein organisches Klangbild, rhythmisch verwoben, bei voller Tiefe und Bewegung. 
Ihre texturierten Grooves verbinden Minimal-Strukturen mit housiger Wärme und feine Percussions flirren über einen konstant pulsierenden Bass. Der Sound trägt Valerias unverwechselbare Handschrift – reduziert, detailreich und mit jener Mischung aus Club-Energie und kontemplativer Ruhe, die ihre Sets so besonders macht. 
Zwischen sanften Passagen und kraftvolleren Bögen entsteht ein Flow, der nie stillsteht und doch geerdet bleibt.
Ein wunderbarer Mix, der uns den Spätsommer nocheinmal spüren  lässt.

Valeria Croft is Helsinki based producer and DJ. After years of experience she found her personal style, a blend of house, funky rhythms and techno. In Helsinki she owns a studio which she shares with other music lovers. From her current base i Valeria has embraced workflow of production, immersing herself in the studio. Her productions are always trippy, full of groove and texture. A new creative take on a genre or producing something a little different will set her production aside from classic dance floor oriented tracks.

Neben seinen zwei Live Projekten DAS KARMA KOMA und mono ~ stabil, wo er 2003 
auf "Triumpf der Provinz“ mit seinem Track Silence Earth sein Debut gab, feierte er auch mit seiner Radioshow RED ROOM 27
unzählige Shows und Clubnights mit nationalen und internationalen Gästen wie J.W. Henze, Tina 303, Frank Lorbeer uvm. 
und sorgte dabei nicht nur bei den Zuhörern sondern auch bei seinen Studiogästen für einen unvergesslichen Eindruck!

Aktuell pflegt der glückliche Familienvater den secret circle der 12 INCH LEAGUE, einer geschlossenen Community internationaler Dj´s, 
die es schätzen, wenn der Sound von Hand gespielt und in Form von schwarzem Gold dargereicht wird.

Seine Dj Gigs sind stark selektiert aber ein echter Geheimtipp, denn egal ob seine Sets explosiv und treibend oder freeky bis bizarr sind, 
nimmt er die Crowd auf eine emotionale Reise mit, bei der der eingefleischteste Taxifahrer nicht mehr weis wo er Einen abholen soll!

Dieses Jahr war er ua. zu hören auf der 10 HOURS DRUMCODE NIGHT im Arttheater Köln wo er neben Act´s wie Joel Mull, Mark Reeve, Roberto Capuano und Dubspeeka spielte. Oder in seinem zweiten Wohnzimmer, dem Club Douala in Ravensburg wo er dieses Jahr neben Act´s wie: WHYTH NOYZ, Kewin Witt, Loran Valdek, Mike Väth, Marleen Polakovski, Kevi Anavi, Alexander Vilar Dias, Chris di Perri und vielen anderen zu hören war.
