Des sommets de l’Himalaya aux mystères des terres Celtes qui l’ont vu grandir, des chants sacrés aux basses profondes du reggae... Ce sont toutes ces expériences qui ont infusé et donné naissance à Shama et à son premier EP baptisé Metamorphosis. 

Dans un écrin musical qu’elle s’est façonné sur-mesure, l’artiste nantaise, déjà connue en tant que leadeuse du groupe Moja, se révèle plus libre que jamais dans un projet aux sonorités World, Electro et Trip Hop, subtil mélange d'électronique moderne et d'instrumentations organiques.

Sa voix ensorcelante invite le spectateur à vivre un voyage authentique, au plus proche des mots et des émotions.

Sa musique, elle, est un parfait mélange de ses influences, allant de la soul downtempo d’Ibeyi à la douceur trip-hop de Morcheeba en passant par l'électro world d’Orange Blossom.

Sur scène, en solo ou accompagnée de ses musiciens, Shama se révèle magnétique et puissante, et laisse aussi place à l’improvisation à travers le chant intuitif qui rend chaque concert unique.

From the peaks of the Himalayas to the mysteries of the Celtic lands where she grew up, from sacred songs to the deep bass of reggae... It is all these experiences that infused and gave birth to Shama and her first EP called Metamorphosis. 

In a musical setting that she shaped for herself, the artist from Nantes already known as the leader of the group Moja, reveals herself to be more free than ever in a project with World, Electro and Trip Hop sounds, a subtle blend of modern electronics and organic instrumentation.

Her bewitching voice invites the viewer to experience an authentic journey, as close as possible to words and emotions. Her music is a perfect blend of her influences, ranging from the downtempo soul of Ibeyi to the gentle trip-hop of Morcheeba to the electro world of Orange Blossom.

On stage, solo or accompanied by her musicians, Shama reveals herself to be magnetic and powerful, and also leaves room for improvisation through intuitive singing which makes each concert unique.
