Logbook entry from 12/115/87: “Today we got closer to the surface of the planet critically low. Another 10-20 meters below - and we wouldn't have coped with gravity, there would have been another crater on the surface of C12.

We have been observing symptoms of iron deficiency in the blood of the crew members for a week now. As we left the C12 orbit, after taking a course of specialized drugs, the iron level was restored. In orbit - the drugs stop helping and the iron level drops. This confirms our hypothesis that the C12 core is a powerful magnet that attracts and absorbs all iron. I'm very glad that our appeal was heard - there isn't a single iron object, not a single iron part on our ship. Only different states of unigel.

Now we will test the protective textures - tomorrow the first landing on the surface will be carried out. Our crew is already taking a specific dose of drugs that protect against iron leaching from the blood; we are measuring the textures on our bodies, today we will conduct the second test drive. The first was quite successful. The textures limit visibility and slightly restrict movement, but we will definitely endure it for 60-80 minutes of landing.
