Konturi's 3rd Exploration library brings you the sound of Black Corporation's Kijimi.

Inspired by the extremely rare RSF Polykobol II, Kijimi is one of the most powerful polyphonic analog synthesizers on the market today.

Utilizing its deeply programmable modulation matrix, we've recorded 100 loops at 128 bpm. Then, all samples were processed through a wide range of effect units like Sherman Filterbank, Erica Synths Fusion Box, Elektron Analog Heat, numerous analog delays and Chase Bliss reverb pedals.

Inside you will find 20 bass loops, 20 chord loops, 20 pad loops and 40 synth loops ready to add immense depth and character to your sound library. MIDI files are included as usual and all samples are key-labeled.

Drums in the main demo are picked from our Analog Drums library.

I tried to support the beautiful atmosphere of this track and send the whole piece through the Sherman Filterbank II while turning the knobs to get some feedback, overtones and saturation.
Details:
•	Filter 2 synced to filter 1 with 2 octaves distance in serial mode
•	Dry/wet at 50%
•	In the first 15 seconds the envelope follower is working
•	Frequency, resonance 1 and 2 is slowly increasing and changing over the complete track 
•	0:47 a tiny bit of FM and AM
•	1:20 changed characteristic of filter 2 (more high frequency’s)
•	Added NI Raum to the whole track and automated on the last sounds the reverb decay to infinity.

This was a song that was really only just a sketch as I went into the studio to record it and it was a bit plain at that stage truth be told. I told this to the producer who suggested we try some live effects and he pulled out this gizmo and he sat there on the floor twirling various knobs while I played and this is what happened. The thing pictured is called a Sherman Filterbank and is what we use to get the cool sounds on this song.

Fnubi is sound detail and melody driven music from Munich, Germany by Florian Lorenz.
Though sounding up to date digital the basis of the Fnubi-typical sounds most of the time is the result of unreproducible analogue one-takes - a counter-position to the paralysing hyper-optionalism in the creative musical process and in our society in general.
Another basic idea behind Fnubi is to keep all steps of the music creating process in one hand. This contains songwriting, instrumentation, recording, sound design and mixing.
After an explorational period of focusing on shaping sounds away from the instruments origin with FNUBI these elements are now brought into song context.

We do yearly parties with (mostly) local and (some) international DJs and Live Acts at our home which we call "Obendruff" as it is at the top of a house with a beautiful view over the city. We record usually the nights (not the mornings & days!). So you'll find mostly dancefloor oriented music in the mix-  folder that we share here.
