The story behind “Insa’”.

After giving everything to a relationship and breaking countless boundaries for someone he trusted, he is suddenly told to simply “forget.”  How can she easily say she is willing to walk away? Why did she fail when the love got tested? 

His Ego was wounded and reacted poorly, projecting his anger onto many, causing harm in the process and affecting various lives. 

But forgetting is not that simple. The memories are everywhere — in the warmth they once shared, the tears that closed their story, and the nights that left him lost. He once lived inside her eyes, yet her distance buried him. Her promises faded, and the same love that once warmed him now burns like cold fire.  

The lyrics reflect the struggle of trying to move on when the heart refuses to erase what it once believed was real. Even when someone new may touch what once belonged to him, the memories remain.  

In the end, the song is a confession of emotional truth: some love stories don’t end with closure — they end with a man standing in the wreckage saying, “No… I can’t forget.”

Insa’ - ءِانْسَا - Mo Hassoun (Lo-fi)

The story behind “No Mercy Left”.

These lyrics tell the story of a man whose heart has been pushed beyond the point of tenderness. The phrase “رَحْمِي مَاكُو” (There is no mercy left in me) becomes the emotional center of the song — not because he was always cold, but because life, betrayal, and repeated disappointment slowly hardened him.

The narrator speaks about a past where love once existed, where he carried people in his heart and protected them. But the same people he once loved are now buried in his memory. The line “دَافِن ءَحْبَابُو” suggests that he has had to emotionally bury those he cared about in order to survive their betrayal. They are not physically gone, but in his heart they no longer exist.

The world around him has turned dark — “دِنِي سَوْدَا” — a place where innocence and hope have been crushed. The lyrics describe someone whose wings were broken, someone who once dreamed of love and trust but was brought down by pain and deception. His tears stole his laughter, meaning the joy he once had was slowly replaced by suffering.

At one time, the woman he loved appeared like an angel in his eyes — pure, beautiful, and worthy of devotion. But that same person later became the source of his wounds, the one who stabbed him emotionally. The contrast between “an angel in my eyes” and “her stabs” reflects the painful transformation of love into betrayal.

As the song progresses, the narrator realizes there is no cure for lies. The damage caused by deception cannot be healed with apologies or explanations. The love he gave her became, in hindsight, his final and greatest mistake.

By the end of the song, the repeated line “There is no mercy left in me” no longer sounds like anger — it sounds like exhaustion. It is the voice of someone who has been hurt so deeply that he no longer allows himself to feel the same softness he once had. Love did not just break his heart; it reshaped the man he became.

The story behind “Beauty Marks”.

These lyrics tell the story of a man who has reached the painful point where love has turned into something hollow and humiliating. The song reads like a confession mixed with a farewell — a man speaking to a woman he once loved deeply but now feels he must emotionally bury in order to survive.

The narrator begins by recalling the small intimate details of her — the beauty marks on her skin that once belonged only to his world. Those marks, once something he adored and memorized, now feel like wounds because another man touches them. The thought alone torments him. What used to be sacred between them is no longer exclusive. The intimacy they shared has been violated.

He speaks to her almost like a disappointed father or judge, confronting her betrayal. She crossed the boundaries of the bed they once shared — a symbolic line representing loyalty, trust, and the private world they built together. To him, it feels like something inside her is sick, as if a moral illness has taken over. Her conscience seems silent; the voice that should have stopped her is gone.

The pain becomes so heavy that he says he has “buried her while she is still alive.” This doesn’t mean physical death — it means emotional death. In his heart he has forced himself to treat her as if she no longer exists, even though she is still walking somewhere in the world. It is the only way he can cope with the betrayal.

Yet the conflict inside him is still alive. He admits that her memory is carved into his skin like a tattoo — something permanent that cannot be erased. No matter how much he tries to bury her, she is still part of him. Her presence is etched into his identity.

At the end, the narrator questions fate itself: who really lost in this story? Was it her, who abandoned the relationship and its responsibilities? Or was it him, the man who loved deeply and now must live with the scars of that love?

The final cry of the song returns to the same painful realization — someone else now touches the woman he once called his own. That single thought becomes the haunting echo that defines the entire story: love that turned into betrayal, memory that refuses to disappear, and a man trying to bury a woman who still lives inside him.
