Society of Unknowns was a project by Jason Skeet (Aphasic, Ambush Records) and Christoph Fringeli (Base Force One, Praxis Records), who released a 5-track 12" EP on Praxis in 1997.

Alternate title: "What Is It You Really Want?"

Originally released in 1997 on the 'Welcome To The Warren EP' (Ambush 02).

Jason (Aphasic) somehow thought, and convinced me (back in the day before an instant Google search could verify these sort of things...) that 'warren' was an old slang word for South London.
However, the true meaning of the word 'warren' is an old abbr. of 'cunny warren' a double entendre for a brothel. Now you know.

Produced on an 8-bit Amiga 1200 computer with 4MB of RAM using the OctaMED tracker program (which gave you 4 channels to 1 output). 

Those were the days.

A riposte to the then current 'Techstep' sound.
